Top 5 leaders in ppg over the last 4 seasons: 1) Giannis Antetokounmpo 2)Damian Lillard 3) Luka Doncic 4) Joel Embiid 5) Kevin Durant

1. 29.7 ppg (Giannis)
2. 29.4 ppg (Dame)
3. 29.3 ppg (Luka)
4. 29.2 ppg (Embiid)
5. 28.8 ppg (Durant)

Being two of the best offensive players in recent history, how do yall think the responsibilities will be shared? Who defers to whom and who is overall better on the offensive end?

  1. I don’t even know how you’re going to defend Dame & Giannis, ESPECIALLY when they’re put in pick and roll action

    > Being two of the best offensive players in recent history

Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t even a top five offensive player in the league today lol.

  3. The_Sign_of_Zeta

Bucks half-court offense is no longer a problem

  4. Can we take a step back and unlink most PPG from correlating to best offensive players

This is a list of volume scorers where scoring INCLUDING efficiency is like only half of what makes up offensive value, so it’s only very partially reflective and the two best offensive players in the league aren’t on this list imo

Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine

  5. Giannis and Dame were both top 5 in ppg last season. Going back to 2009-2010, there has been 3 times when two players in top 5 ppg were traded to the same team.

    Kd and curry,
    Love and bron,
    Wade and bron

All of those teams produced championships

  6. And that includes the 30 games in 2022 when Dame was playing through a torn ab muscle. If you remove that his average since 2020 is 30.2 PPG.

Bookmark me bitch but Anfernee Simons is gonna be a top 5 scorer in the NBA this year.

  8. RVAIsTheGreatest

Dame is the better scorer and playmaker, Giannis is the bigger offensive force.

Neither will be deferring. They’ll be playing off each other and elevating each other’s games. PPG itself may not skyrocket but efficiency should. I can see both being their most efficient this season in their careers. Would even say it’s likely.

  9. MildlyPaleMango

2 top 2 scorers and MVP winners or candidates, and 2 DPOY winners or candidates + an All star in Middleton lmao this team is nuts

  10. Timely_Airline_7168

Giannis will take a step back from the offensive load to devote more to Def.

  11. n0th1ng10

Giannis isn’t one of the best offensive players in recent history or even close to that. Great finisher but he isn’t talented enough to be a great player on a a great playoff offense. Dame is tho.

  12. Depends on the matchup and the ebb and flow of the game. I don’t see how either of these guys need to sacrifice since their positions are so different. Khris will be the one that will have to sacrifice.

This will be like Shaq and Kobe to an extent.

  13. BrolysFavoriteNephew

    This elevates Giannis game
He’s going to become a more willing full passer cause Dame is there. A playmaking Giannis creates problems to the NBA

  14. WordSpiritual1928

I’m going to lose no nut November every bucks game that month

  15. Rithgarth

but but I thought Giannis was limited on offense

Points are points jackasses, particularly when their high efficiency points.

  16. So they’re gonna score 60 out of 120 every night aye?

  17. AtreusIsBack

Well, they won’t be scoring that much every night now. I can’t imagine having two 29 ppg players on the team for the whole year.
