[Weiss] The price for Jrue Holiday likely starts at two first-round picks, but several teams in the mix have the means and motivation to go beyond that.

So after all that, the Portland Trail Blazers might end up getting more draft capital than they would’ve from the Miami Heat’s max offer (that wasn’t even technically offered, the Heat were “prepared” to offer it).

Yeah this is what the heat fans don’t understand lmao

Thoughts on the suggested Celtics offer in the article:

    – Brogdon + Pritchard + Hauser + Kornet + Walsh + Griffin (S+T)

Also, I believe the implication is 2 first rounders are added to this.

C’s have BOS 2024 + GSW 2024 firsts they could trade without impacting future draft asset flexibility

If it’s the Celtics we’d need more than 2 firsts. Their firsts will be very bad for years and they have 0 intriguing prospects the blazers could really want/need. I’d prefer almost anywhere else

I hope this isn’t just BS from Cronin. Would be awesome.

Holy shit this is such amazing news. Really hope this info is more trustworthy than the info we’ve been getting the last few months.

Have seen it floated out there that we could trade him to Golden State for 2 FRPs, Kuminga, Moody, and CP3 to make the contracts work out. Not sure how much CP3 would help us out though and I imagine it’d be hard to trade him. Maybe a Toronto, Boston, or Miami would want him to have a veteran PG, but assume all we could get back is an expiring contract.
