(Neubeck) Blazers consider offers from a number of teams around the league, with the Celtics and Clippers among the frontrunners for Holiday’s services. One source described trade talks as “very competitive” with a handful of contenders and even fringe playoff teams looking to get in the mix.

  1. If brad gets him while keeping both Rob/Al….not sure what I’ll do but it will be spectacular

Typically the team most in the trade rumors doesn’t get the guy. See KD to Celtics last off-season and Dame to Heat then Raptors this off-season.

Still hoping the weirdness around Brogdon and the fact Holiday wasn’t expected to be available means we actually do have a shot of getting him this time. Especially if it means no Rob or Al going out 🤞🏼

He’ll be on the Celtics by Sunday. #talksoon

question for the capologists, would it be possible to include the Grant Williams trade exception in the deal? Or is it a case where you can only trade for a player of equal value of the exception?

There is no way Boston makes this trade without giving up Al Horford or Robert Williams. Mathematically, it’s the only option that works that I’m aware of. Anyway thinking otherwise is crazy.

The celtics are a good team. i think they could win upwards of 50 games this year.

If Brad can manage to keep Al and Rob than we need a statue of him outside TD Garden

So what y’all got for a rebuilding team?

But Portland was emotional and took the “worse deal”. Herro ain’t igniting a bidding war like Jrue is currently.
