The new NBA season is around the corner but many NBA teams are still looking around the league to see in what ways they can still improve their roster, especially after the Damian Lillard trade. Once that trade went down and we saw Jrue Holiday heading to Portland, we all wondered if Portland would keep or trade him. According to multiple NBA sources, the Knicks are linked as a top team to pursue Jrue Holiday but if they do go after Holiday, the price point may be painful. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

I know you have to report this stuff and we like it but this is not at all true they know new York is the media central of the world and if you want to make a player look better than what he is they link them to the Knicks cause we will always point out the positives in a player especially when we think we can use him but smart Knicks fans don't care obi , og aint nobody and ja rule not holiday are not winning the Knicks a chip we need to chill only players can make us win is ppl that push to come here like melo did , melo was built different these dudes way too soft to save the Knicks I don't think one player on the NBA built for it better than Julius randle and trust me he's the best . I believe the Pacers have more expendable assets. He will not be a Knick unless a miracle. But RJ would guarantee getting Jrue Holiday which I would not approve.

Trading for Jrue Holiday does zero to move the needle for NY. Inquire, yes. Leon Rose must do his due diligence. But actually move significant assets, no. That would be a 90's Knicks move. Acquiring aging players that USED TO BE good. Think Steve Francis, Baron Davis, Anfernee Hardaway, Tracy McGrady. Im ALL THE WAY good on Jrue Holiday.
