This Trade made sense for all sides honestly
Holiday and ayton and 1st rounder is way better of a trade than herro amd a couple picks. Portland made the right trade for portland
Suns BEEN trying to move Ayton, guess they figured getting a cheaper center and bench depth made the trade worth it
The Blazers did Dame right by sending him to Milwaukee. They care about their star player just as much as the future of their club. Even if Dame had gone to the Heat, the Heat would not have won anything. Butler's aptitude sucks. That's why the 76er got rid of him. The Blazers will not trade Jrue Holiday to the Heat. The Heat are finished.

Obviously what happened is the bucks called the blazers offering a trade package and told dame. Then dame said dont answer the heat calls because he probably didnt think the bucks would get a deal done.
I really only see 1 of 2 options for Miami post trade, and that is to either see what they can get for a combination of Lowry + Robinson + Martin + literally all their picks (probably would be divided into two trades) or just trade Jimmy and Bam (and maybe even Herro in that case) and blow the team up.

The base of the Heat offer logically dont make sense for Portland. They dont want Herro taking minutes from the Guards they want to develop. In additon, Miami picks dont tend to be high because Miami don't bottom out as they are a good FA destination. Plus, Jrue is easier to flip for another pick or young player than Herro.

Love your videos, but have to respectfully disagree that the Miami offer was better. Miami has been in the playoffs continuously over the past 30 years, Milwaukee not so much. If I had to bet on which team to take picks from at the end of the decade I'd take Milwaukee. Also I think Jrue is a better player and has more trade value than Herro, but that's just my opinion.
