End of 2021, the Warriors are up 2 on the Pacers with 2.2 seconds left, Warriors inbounding in the Pacers half, no timeouts left, they just need to inbound and hit their FTs to seal the game. Kerr plans this elaborate scramble play and it looks like Draymond’s pass is heading straight for Poole, but right when he throws it, Poole turns around and jets straight back on defense so Draymond’s pass goes right to the defender who fortunately is facing the wrong way 92 feet away from the basket with 2 seconds left so time runs out, Warriors win. No free throws needed, no chance to throw a long full court pass on the FT in bound for a last second heave, game over. You could tell Steph and Kerr were not happy though.
