Grayson Allen is more valuable than TJ McConnell for the Suns. Both players are good defenders, scorers, and facilitators, though TJ has the edge on that. Allen is taller and stronger than TJ, while still being equal on offensive output (points & assists combined) but is better able to guard all PG, SG, and sometimes small SF. At 6'1", TJ's size limits his utility in this regard.
Ik I said I hate the trade but if Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon come off the bench we would have one of the best 3pt shooting benches

Pat Bev absolutely would of been a "bridge too far". He has no restraint at all, evidenced by his unleashing on CP3 in that Western Conference close out. And the Pat Bev drama is a distraction and cancer in the locker room. Grayson is actually good, and able to get in other's heads while keeping restraint nowadays.
We traded away an overpaid. Inconsistent, attitude. For some dawgs. YAAAH

Grayson was known in college for being a dirty POS always trying to end someones career with a dangerous cheap shot. Phx fans might love having someone u can send out there to break someones leg or back but that's not cool.

Grayson Allen is going to be fundamental, we need his defense. I don't like the guy one bit, but the Suns' organization has overrated Nurkic's defense and DA's defense was highly underrated.
For the newer fans who didn't get to see D'Antoni's 7 secs or less runnin' and gunnin' offense, they were exciting to watch but it's not possible to win a championship only with offense if you can't stop the other team.
Love Allen great pick up need a guy like him.
The big difference between Pat Bev and Allen is that Pat Bev has had multiple run-ins with the Suns while Allen hasn’t thus far. Allen will be like getting Danny Ainge back in the day.

The difference between Allen and Beverly, is that Allen actually has talent. Beverly has to be the irritant because talent alone doesn’t keep him in the NBA.
