First the Christmas game and now opening night. NBA really trying to gloss up our games.

  2. So we can go back to appreciating our guys now or nah?

  3. Original-Common-7010

But hey at least the clets know they are all in

  4. Pandamonium-23

Giving up time lord might bite them in the ass

  5. benevenstancian0

It’s like in 2K when you go 82-0 because you’ve turned off fatigue and injuries. Looks great at the top but that bench is worrisome over the course of a long season.

  6. SwellandDecay

fucking wild that they gave up timelord

  7. roly_gomez

Thank goodness, now you mfs can stfu about jru to the Knicks

  8. Now all these Jrue to NYK trade scenarios can die in peace 🙌🏾

  9. MyLadySansa

Fucking ridiculous. Hate them so much

  10. NYImpact414

They have a core rotation of Holiday, Brown, Tatum, KP, Horford, and Derrick White. Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, and Luke Kornet will likely play as well. Meh. This is a huge investment, and they need KP and Horford to stay healthy.

  11. Struggle2Real

I was into jrue if the price was right.
    This was not that. Goodness.

  12. Lovejones722

Idk if we had a chance but if we did, shame on the front office. This team doesn’t stand a chance against Boston smh

  13. Norby710

Yeesh. We still weren’t good enough and technically the 2025 timeline still fits. All eyes on embiid for star chasing though.

  14. MrMoistandDelicious

Embiid and Butler are Knicks 🤞🏽

Damn, Blazers kinda fleeced the Celts on this deal. Rob Williams is an excellent young defensive PF, gonna truly show what he’s made of in Portland. Brogdon can still be traded for maybe even another first, PLUS 2 unprotected 1s? If Boston wins a chip, it’ll all be worth it for them. If they don’t, they’re gonna be massively regretting this move, cause they may only be able to keep one of KP and Jrue after this season. If I’m a Blazers fan though, I’d be praising Joe Cronin right now, THIS is how you jumpstart a rebuild.

  16. T-Bills

Personally I’d prefer having the three guys they traded over KP and Jrue. Hope it all blows up in their face and ends up with one of the Jays requesting a trade.

  17. asapfetty

Betting your whole season on KP’s knees is an interesting choice

  18. NtLmr95

That Celtics front-court is thin after Porzingas and Horford.

This is Mitch and iHart’s chance to thrive.

If Mitch is more consistent at the FT line and iHart can do damage as a 3pt shooter and playmaker, the Knicks will feast on Boston this season.

I was in on Jrue but not at the price that it would have taken to beat this offer.

Also count me in with the group that thinks the Celtics are playing with fire trading away all their depth.

  20. kraftpunkk

Doesn’t move me at all. Once KP goes down, and he will, they’re fucked. We already know they can’t win a chip with Tatum and Brown and now they have zero paint protection.

  21. Frozen_Fire2478

Nice the Bucks and Celtics are stacked while Leon Rose still thinks RJ Barrett and Quentin Grimes are starters on a championship contending team. Wasting away Brunson and Randle’s cheap contracts

  22. Murky_Expression

Not happy with this at all. I know fans were iffy on Jrue but this seems like another wasted opportunity on our part to not get better.

Just my opinion but I’m not as big of a believer in our young core the way everyone else is.

  23. cricket9818

Boston betting big on a front court of KP and horford lasting all year.

I wouldn’t do that but I’m just a measly teacher what do I know

  24. dreamvomit

Man that’s a worst case scenario. Let’s get that IQ extension done now

  25. Fresh-Soup213

At this rate, Portland/OKC/Jazz will be the only ones picking in the first round soon

  26. leverkusenschlekt

I’ll laugh so hard If this doesn’t work and he walks in the offseason

  27. nyc_brand

Is our front office going to do any moves? This is exactly what happened two years ago after we made the playoffs and we sucked.
