It’s a shame he got injured again when it mattered most. If he and Rob weren’t injury prone you can bet this trade doesn’t happen.

  2. fiskeybusiness

Idk about class act this off-season but definitely balled

It’s like we have a brand new team every year these days. Hardly knew ya malcolm but winning the john havlicek sixth man of the year award on the celtics was really cool. Also the first celtics sixth man of the year since 1986. Hopefully he doesn’t get flipped to a team in direct competition with us

Dude really balled out for us in the regular season this year. It’s a shame he couldn’t stay healthy in the playoffs but that’s been his MO throughout his career.

Wish him the best of luck wherever he lands

He surpassed my expectations tbh, class act Brogdon. Will miss that handsome face.

  6. thatgreik

Absolutely loved having him – balled out in the regular season and gave the Jays much-needed bench scoring. Happy he got a 6MOY for accepting the role with professionalism, and rooting for him wherever he goes now

  7. Cvspartan

Him being healthy for these past play-offs is definitely one of our bigger “What-ifs”. Thanks for the great year Malcom, going to miss you.

  8. brickvanexel

Sucks because it feels like this summer and the injury stuff made everyone around the NBA forget he was a lights out shooter and 6MOY. I’ll miss his steady presence but am stoked for Jrue

“Class acts” don’t refuse to show up to mini camp

  10. Sea_Baseball_7410

We barely knew ya. He was a class act.

I look forward to voting Brogdon for President someday. He’s a very intelligent, admirable guy who has plans, and ability, beyond the NBA.

    Good luck to him.

Let’s call a spade a spade here – it didn’t work the way Brad envisioned. Brogdon just not the right dude in the locker room, credit to Brad for trying the first time to deal him and sticking with it to now wash his hands of the player.

    Thank you Brogdon.

Best of luck in Portland and beyond!

Thank you Brogdon! You wanted to come here in the first place, embraced Boston, sacrificed your role, yet you still shone and won a well-deserved award. So sorry there were some unhappiness towards the end. I hope you heal well, and go to a contender in a good city such as the Clippers.

Hard to see these two + Smart go, but also hard to say that Holiday, Tatum, Brown, Horford, and KP isn’t one of the best starting lineups in the league

Malc was a class act. Wish he could have been here longer but I hope for nothing but the best for him and his future endeavors (please don’t get traded back to Milwaukee or Philly…)

Saw him at the ATL airport a couple weeks ago w/ his wife + kids. Simply told him “waddup MB” but he gave a warm greeting back & I could tell he’s a genuinely good dude.

With all the rumors swirling lately my gut told me don’t mention the Celtics to him. Really appreciate his 1 year in Green, sucks he actually stayed healthy til we got deep into the playoffs. Wishing him nothing but the best 🫡.

  18. TH3_ZucC

I’m glad that out of all places he could’ve gone, he’s going to Portland (assuming they keep him). As a back up/mentor for Scoot he’s perfect.

  19. CertifiedCapArtist

Thanks for the regular season bro. And for being one of the only long time celtics rumor guys that we acc get

  20. ProofSinger3638

not sure he can be considered a class act with the way he was QQ’ing in the playoffs, talking all the nonsense about the coach and office.

still a pretty stalwart dude but he aint a “class act”
