Good. He was playing so well Chauncey had to bench him for the second half of that pivotal Spurs tank off game.

The Woj bomb I’ve been waiting for!

Great two-way for depth! Also, it’s a small sign, but seems more likely Brogdon is getting traded too

Really happy with this move – he played really well last year.

Skylar Mays is the 7th longest tenured blazer behind Ant, Grant, and Shaedon and the guys mentioned below

That tells me that Brogdon is on the move. Cronin out here playing 4D chess.

Sweet! I was really wanting him back.

I’m actually really excited for our new G League team lol

He’s the perfect 3rd/4th string PG. Just plug him in and he won’t hurt you. Thrilled we got him on a two-way. Hopefully, he’ll get a lot of run on the Remix as well.

I completely forgot you can have 3 two-way players now, was thinking we were going to cut one of Badji or Butler

Ah, so he gets the last 2WP for now, and he will continue to be with team as he has all summer.

2WP’s can still be converted to full time contracts. As long as POR has a roster slot. If POR does bring back another young ball handler (on a team controlled expiring contract) to get a look at them, and it doesn’t work out, Mays can immediately be converted into that spot. Or, lead the GL team for the rest of the season. 🙂

I wasn’t 100% that Mays was still eligible for a 2WP. But, now that question is answered, and it makes complete sense as to why he has been with the team all summer. 🙂
