As a heat fan I’m extremely pissed. I think Miami probably came into the negotiations disingenuous and presented a low ball offer which Portland scoffed at. Right after the initial offer that’s when Cronin had that press conference saying “if it take months it takes months”. Unbeknownst to the heat Cronin had absolutely ZERO intentions of communicating back with Miami after the initial lo ball offer. After hearing news that other teams wanted to get into the fray Miami became DESPERATE yes DESPERATE tries to contact Portland but Cronin left Pat on read. Smh…

As every non-homer has been saying, the only reported offer of Tyler+ Two 1sts was embarrassing, but even the 'WERE WILLING TO OFFER' package that included extra 1sts and Jovic was still not enough. And on top of that, POR can still trade Robert Williams and Brogdon for additional draft picks.
