Loving our lineup other than Jovic being the 3rd option on PF.

Other thoughts:
-highsmith shouldn’t be PF and Martin should be starting over JRich.

Also, Can someone validate if herro got the staring PG role? I pulled this from ESPN but not sure if it’s official.

Herro probably gets the starting PG role because that’s the only move that makes sense.

I hope Jovic starts some games this year. Its only gonna be a fun season if the young guys (Bam,Herro,JJJ,Jovic) thrive

  3. Emmbryyy

It’s gonna be Lowry Herro Jimmy Love Bam

We need a real PG and have Tyler at the 2

This will be a good-great regular season team but we need more offense for the postseason

this is a mid ass lineup and any of you saying otherwise are coping hard as fuck

  7. Tyler was so ass last time we tried to start him at pg. Can’t see this going well.

Baffling that people think this team is deep

Better than what we had going into last year that’s Forsure

Martin should absolutely be starting over Richardson he’s way better than him, on both halves of the court.

Man I got Jovic as my sleeper. He’s going to make noise this year.

I would start Jovic as much as possible so he get experience time to develop the guy for real and not bench him most of the season

Jovic will get time. Its not like Love is going to be a 35 mpg starter. Same with Jaime/Martin. Jimmy is going to miss 20 plus games this year. Plenty of time for Martin and Jaime to get some playing time.

The end of the season after Spo tinkers with lineups is when the depth chart matters

I guess we can say it again for those in the back:

SPO COACHES POSITIONLESS BASKETBALL! We got to the finals last year without a true PG. Butler runs plays, Bam runs plays, Herro can run plays, Lowry as the backup runs plays, Caleb has run plays…

The only reason you have designated roles is to line up defensively on a guy of similar size, or have the right personnel to switch onto someone you can cover. Herro will be covering the lesser guard whenever he’s out there, regardless of what position you have him at.

So yes, I can definitely see us running Herro at the 1. No issue.

I’m still not sure J-Rich starts… it might be Lowry as the PG and Herro playing SG.

Why Dru over bouyea? Bring my boy back

I pointed this out last month. On 1 side its a good problem to have so many options just in case injury. On the other side, having too many 3s and 4s, while being almost empty at PG is just horrible.

I agree that in any circumstance, Caleb should start over J Rich.

Wonder if we an get tyrus jones from Washington in mid season trade, decent pg, 27 years old on his contract year with a tanking team, he was pretty good on the Memphis team as back up pg off the bench

  19. carbine23

We need someone to bring the ball up lol, a real ass point guard lmao, this is gonna be roughhh

Won’t happen straight away but I think Robinson becomes the backup C at some point. He looks good and Bryant sucks
