[Adrian Wojnarowski] ESPN Sources: In what’s expected to be a continued attempt to push for a trade, Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden isn’t in attendance for the team’s media day today. Harden remains upset that the organization hasn’t moved him to the Clippers.

Fuck offfff Harden. Clearly no one wants you. Fred Van Vleet got a deal before you, and both Dame and Jrue were traded before you were. Your constant bitching and attempts to force yourself off of your third team in as many years has tanked your trade value. Shut the fuck up and play basketball ya bum.

Harden should realize he needs us. If we don’t trade him, his bird rights are gone and he loses millions of potential earnings next year.

If he continues to go scorched earth, I see no reason to trade him. Just let him rot on the bench.

I’m so mad at you for not trading me to the team I could I’ve signed with this summer – James Harden probably

    > The Sixers and Clippers have talked recently but there doesn’t appear to be any traction on a trade, sources said.

    > No traction with the Clippers — or any team — on a trade.

this fucking league lol what a bum

I might have an old man take but let him piss away a year of his already aging career. I don’t care what he wants or where he wants to go. He opted-in to the contract.

  7. Mysterious_Wayss

I have to assume the Sixers are thrilled he’s not there, and he’s probably skipping it with their blessing. Can you even imagine what he would say to the media?

  8. jeppsforst

Joel showed up to media day in a Red October beanie. I will choose to focus on that instead

Harden is a loser but Morey brought him

The clippers dont want you you fucking bum.

Best outcome. Situation sucks, we’re all dooming about the season, but at least let the players and coaches who want to show up and try to make a run have today to feel positive. Harden doing “I don’t know, who said that, I didn’t say that” playing dumb shtick isn’t that exciting. Everyone knows the deal. We have to sit back and wait for the league to get into some chaos like it always does.

bodner had the best idea. threaten to waive harden, which will terminate his bird rights. that screws him over for next summer.

does waiving him hurt us? yes, we’d obviously be better off trading him for whatever. but if he threatens to torpedo the team with his bullshit and no one will trade for him, id rather we knife him on the way out by waiving him and ruining his free agency.

We make Harden sweat it out and go full scorched earth on him. We can fine him like we did for Ben Simmons and we have leverage with the new CBA and he can only holdout for 30 days max. If he withholds services any longer, he cannot sign with another professional team unless we give permission.

After seeing what teams are willing to dish out for players they value – maybe he should also be mad at the Clippers?

Either way, sit him until the deadline then – giant expiring salaries are always nice to have

He tanked his own value. Fucking clueless not to see how his churlish behavior makes teams not want to employ his services.

Man after how last year ended and now all this drama bull shit i truly don’t give a shit anymore.

I don’t understand why the guy can’t just play out this final deal. With over $300 mil from NBA contracts alone how much money does one man need. That doesn’t even include sponsorship money.

  18. PrimasChickenTacos

When does he show up with a cell phone in his pocket for practice?

  19. PineappleHotSalsa

Does he jump up and down and fall on the ground when he doesn’t get what he wants? Sounds like my 3 year old.
