Good job Joe!!!!๐
I apologize I wasn't familiar with your game
Joe Cronin lied to us and lied to Dame. Why not just admit it was always about a rebuild and never about trying to win around Dame when every move he has made has always been about rebuilding. Unbelievable.
Losing Dame is gonna sting for a while, but you can't deny that our future is extremely bright and exciting. Joe Cronin did a really nice job of getting a nice return for Lillard and Holiday, and i believe that we're not that far off as far as being competitive and potentially surprise alot of people this season and moving forward. I can't wait to see Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe become a superstar tandem together, and i can't wait to see how we deploy Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams on the court together. Say what yall want about my Blazers, but i stand by my team no matter what and im excited as hell for our season to start later this month.
You cooked joe. Well played sir ๐๐พ
King Cronin
I have always wanted to see Dame play his entire career in Portland, but when he rightfully started putting pressure on the organization to go into win-now mode, that made me nervous because I couldnโt see Cronin being able to piece together a championship contender while Dame is on his current extension. And that would probably mean that the Blazers would trade their young players and picks for guys closer to Dameโs age, potentially leaving the cupboard bare and the organization in a bad way in a few seasons. So I grudgingly accept that Dame needed to be traded now while he still has a substantial amount of value on the market. And I think Joe did well considering the bind Dame put him in with his trade demand to only one team. (Mostly Iโm happy that Dame wasnโt traded to the Heat because the past three months of interacting with their fans online made me dislike them, although Iโm sure that not all Heat fans are trolls lol). Anyway, I hope the Bucks win the next three championships and the Blazers win the next ten after that.
trade simons for a veteran player and more first round draft picks
It is safe to say that our future is bright because you are the bomb Joe Cronin. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅKeep it going ! Dame trade is a masterpiece.
What time is it? It's Joe time!!

I think the hardest part was breaking the Dame and Blazer. Never was going to be easy. Dame iso was fun and memorable but this doesn't win Rings. Teamball is key.
this guy just pulled off a tremendous deal for PDX and got Dame to an incredible location, pretty much flawless. He seems so genuine and considerate + uncomfortable in the spotlight. I like him lol

I joe did a great job getting assets in return for a aging lilliard
How selfish is Dame omg. He wanted to come back and wait for them to work something out with the Heat smh.
Reality is Portland didnโt have the required assets to build a winner around Dame. This team was much farther away than an Ant and #3 pick trade away from contending. Rebuilding wasnโt just the path Joe chose, it was the ONLY path to choose. Whoever dealt Dame was bound to look like a bad guy, you donโt split with your organizationโs greatest ever without bumps. The NBA is a business and the correct business decision was made. Hello new window
Good way to start off rep dame,
Itโs hilarious to me that a week ago everyone was saying Joe didnโt know what he was doing and now heโs a genius ๐.. I knew he had a plan and he executed it perfectly.. Excited for the future of the Blazers
