The NBA season is almost here and it’s time for media days across the league.
The Cleveland Cavaliers held its ceremonies at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, where the team has had a tremendous home court advantage the last few years.
Donovan Mitchell & Darius Garland still remember last year’s playoff loss to the Knicks but are confident the team made the necessary changes this offseason to push the Cavs over the hump.
The Cavs signed Max Strus and Georges Niang to add some much needed shooting on the perimeter, which should open up the floor for both of Cleveland’s two playmaking guards.
The biggest storyline this year for the Cavs though is the development of third year forward Evan Mobley. If the Cavs are going to content with the Bucks and the Celtics, the team is going to need Mobley to turn into the superstar they drafted him to be.
This is also the first time the UCSS have gotten a chance to speak to certain players on the Cavs, like Emoni Bates, Jarrett Allen & others.
Myles Garrett and company did its best to hold Lamar Jackson at bay, but Lamar continued his excellent play in the city of Cleveland, scoring 4 TDs on the game.
The Browns now have plenty of questions of to answer as they enter the bye week at maybe the perfect time, before taking on San Francisco in Week 6.
The Browns sit at 2-2 on the season, tied for 2nd in the AFC North.
