Theres been so many superteams with so many superstars together. Just look at the Clippers now for instance. Theres been 2, 3, or even 4 superstars on teams at times. But many of them have NEVER been able to win a chip, especially in this modern era. Why? Because of mentality. The mentality lacked in those players. Most of them were arrogant (mostly americans) and only went their because of the money, not because they wanted to win. They talk about ''load management''. They don't care. We've seen the same on the 76ers, the brooklyn nets, now the clippers and many more teams. We've seen the same in the FIBA world cup. A championship is never given. You have to earn it. If you have more talent, great, but you still have to go out and be able to convert it into wins. There are many more factors than just talent. There is mentality, maturity, consistency, calmness, hunger, grit, discipline, humbleness etc. Because many superstars don't have all qualities, they fail (Zion Williamson, Ben Simmons for example). That's why when people discredit the championships that the Warriors won because they had Steph, Klay and KD I simply say: ''They earned it. Whether superteam or not, they were able to win those. Not only that, but Steph won a chip before and after KD as well. KD however did not win a single chip without Steph, even though he joined countless other superteams. Why? Mentality.'' Giannis knows exactly how it works, thats why you hear him say that the hype does not matter, but the actual gameplay matters. And I completely agree. I think this is going to be a special combination though, because both players are humble and experienced enough to make this work with a higher likelihood. Very excited as a Giannis and Dame fan. Lets GO!!!
