As much as people probably wanted him to stay, what was done was done. Him returning would not have gone well and he’d have been back on the trade block by the deadline when the team was bad again

Everyone would be on egg shells if dame came back. One slip and dame just bounces for nothing or refuses to play. When dame wanted out there was no going back. Love dame and wish he never requested a trade, but atleast we got return on him unlike lamarcus.
Overall I think all parties involved with the trade should be happy. The only person I think got short handed was jrue, but he ended up on a great team so in the end no big damage, just a bit of a heartbreak.
I think an interesting person is nurk. You think he’s stressing being on a team like the suns? He is a huge piece for a team that is expected to excel. First time in his career where he is going to be held accountable. I hope he can live up to the demand of playing next to KD.
