[Rubin] Daymond Green on not liking Chris Paul and learning more about him as a teammate: “I’ve started to get to know Chris better. If you’ve ever watched Chris compete, he’s kind of an asshole. You might say the same thing about me, and that’s ok.”

Its gonna be weird being on CP3s side when he does his antics.

I suggest watching Dray’s whole media day interview, instead of reading just these pulled quotes, because he talks about Chris A LOT and I came away with the impression that their relationship has changed a lot for the better over the summer.

I think they’ll be fine. They both know what it’s all about and its winning. On court chemistry is what they need to work on.

We still need a lob threat that can complement chris paul when he’s leading the bench unit.

CP3 is totally an asshole while competing, but unlike Draymond, he doesn’t completely lose control of himself. I think Dray actually might respect CP3 since they are in the same social/friend group with LeBron, in a different way then he respects Klay and Steph who are not part of that group, and so I hope CP3 can help Dray calm down sometimes. Sometimes I feel like Dray intentionally chirps with the other team to get himself going, but since no one else on the team is doing it with him, there’s no one to pull him back when he gets close to the edge.
