Got downvoted when I said McDaniels is getting more than 150M / 5 years. No way he is getting less than this deal now. Crazy. Second apron next year, here we go.
My guess was 5 150. It’s probably more than that now.
Jaden should get roughly the same contract. Very comparable situations
Said a couple months back that even a 5yr/140mil deal would be a steal and worth every penny. Should get even more now with Vassell setting the market
At this point the Wolves might as well wait for restricted feee agency and then just match whatever offer Jaden gets, right? And then they will have to find money elsewhere somehow via player(s) going out?
Unfortunate the Wolves already have so many other expensive pieces, it’s hard to image new ownership wanting to be a 2nd apron team and paying all that luxury tax when the team hasn’t produced enough winning to justify it.
