This attitude has to come from your best players. Brown got his supermax and Tatum is all but guaranteed his. Now they can gear everything around a title. There was nothing wrong with these guys wanting to make All-Star and All-NBA and max out their earnings! Those other motivations are a fact of life. But now we can hope they’ve reached a point where they are single-mindedly focused and demand that same focus out of the rest of the team.
