    Scoring wise im taking Tatum, Jaylen and Jrue over Giannis and Dame anyday. Celtics still favourite in the east

    I think the Celtics is the team everybody loves to hate. It doesn't matter who the Celtics add, trade, or draft there never get over the hump long as the NBA figures more people want to see them lose instead of winning. And for some reason Gil Arenas never speaks positive about the Celtics

    Gil is spot on about Tatum and Brown. But let's not forget the rest of the team. In a series, the Bucks would have the 1st and 3rd best player in the series in Giannis and Dame. But the Celtics have the 2nd, 4th and 5th best player in Tatum, Brown and Jrue.
    As great as Dame and Giannis might be (and I really thing that their fit is nasty), it's still a team sport. Connaughton, Lopez and Middleton will struggle against that Celtics defense.
    Celtics have 4 of the 7-8 best defenders in the league and some really good scoring.

    I am not convinced that the Bucks would have the advantage. Griffin will also have to create a good offensive and defensive system for the Bucks to be dominant. And it will take the team some time to gel. People are always overreacting to trades.

    …..the recency bias is crazy….This is NOTHING like the Heatles or GSW. Dame is a defensively a bit weak so im running him to the ground in PnR plus Middleton has been subpar since injury as Gil said. And questioning Jrue's defensive cred is crazy. he was the IFYKYK proven, high level defender prior to the bucks. Now its common knowledge. Bucks didnt win til he got there so…….and they lost grayson, signed cam payne, connaughton no where to be found lol, crowder got no burn last year lol, some moving parts so lets pump the brakes here a bit…..and for boston, KP has already been injured since being on C's lol. He will always be naturally injury prone due to his frame paired with him being an aggressive shot blocker so we'll see if he is more available than Timelord…… Lack of depth on both the bucks and C's is a worry overall as well, while Cavs look quite deep and emoni bout to show out i feel cuz he a mf dawg….. The east is up for grabs more than ppl think. All depends on when a team is playing their best basketball.
