he’s addicted to playing in the finals

“*It just so happens that me starting gives us the best chance to win.*”

In theory he’s all about winning. Has yet to be seen at the nba level

  4. Currymvp2

I think he realizes that this might be his last opportunity for a championship

Where does Steph rank all time if he gets CP3 a ring?

  6. It is still surreal seeing warriors flairs defending CP3

That’s what I expected him to say publicly. We’ll see how it goes privately, but he’s gonna get a similar amount of playing time regardless of whether he starts.

CP has said all along he’s all about winning, and now is the time for him to back that up. He coming off the bench is what’s best for both team and player here.

I’m happy to hear CP answer this question in this way. The words, the demeanor, the body language… I believe he’s about winning.

Some of y’all thinking he’s just caving or settling. Maybe… but I think he is just a professional athlete who cares about winning. There’s a reason he’s made every stop a better team over his career. Even when on OKC, I don’t recall him complaining about being on a contender.

    I whole heartedly welcomed CP3.

If everyone’s healthy, I don’t know what the starting lineup would look like either CP3. It just doesn’t work out with him as a starter

How can you be all about winning when you haven’t won anything?

  12. domdomburg

How could anybody question this man’s determination to win, when he is willing to spin like a helicopter and throw his body to the ground like a female dog just to get the whistle.

Why does he look like black Bruce Willis in that photo

Damn they broke CP3. See what happens when you have an introductory press conference in a back alley next to a thrash can?

Oh, the team when he carried everyone’s luggage? I kinda assumed he came out of that thinking “never again”.

“Got the opportunity” to come off the bench is such a political way to say it lmao

CP3 knows NBA politics at the very least

Out of all the players in new jerseys today cp3 in a warriors uni is still the weirdest

Moving klay and wigs and putting draymond back at the 5. This kind of lineup is what killed the Bigsin the league when they first got together and came of age…. They will attempt to run joker to death. Will be interesting to see how it works out.

Hey, even took a lot of pressure from the team (which who knows), at least he’s not throwing a fit about it in public and tanking ream chemistry

we’ll see what happens when his 1200+ starting streak in the NBA is actually on the line.

Yeah, in the ‘08 Olympics, you’re not starting over a prime Jason Kidd and a prime Kobe Bryant so yeah, yo ass us coming off the bench.

No disrespect, but this is the first time I’ve looked at CP3 and thought “Damn. This dude got old.”
