I think his comments on the pace of the team were most interesting to me. This team can be absolutely great in transition if they are able to force those moments on the defensive end. Being a fast paced team suits every player we have and is a huge change from the dame Era of solo shot creation and poor defense. I really hope that’s the identity we embrace. When we do need to play half court the pnr options are very enticing between scoot,ant, brogdon and ayton/Williams on the roll with Grant sharpe etc spotting up. Can also see backside cuts from sharpe and grant. We’re gonna oop on everybody…

I think he’s picked up many of Dames mannerisms. I’m excited to see what he brings this year

I kind of wish we could see some more cockiness from him. They asked in a few different ways if he plans on taking over Dame’s mantle and he seems a little indifferent to it. If he’s not intent on doing it, I know Scoot is prepared to take it.
