I'd prefer we use draft picks for guys whose prime is ahead of them, not behind them.
A Corvette always looks good on a used car lot and by name and style is why they're asking more for it. But once you get to look at it under the hood, you realize it's not only got miles, it's been driven hard and if you buy it, you'll probably be back to the lot looking again sooner than you'd hoped.

I agree with you. Jrue is for a team that's on a championship run. I still want to see how Mathurin grows over the next couple of years. If Ben seems like he's just a guy after 2 years then go after a star.
Facts! I would've loved a trade for Holiday 2 years ago, but today not so much. The Pacers backcourt is deeper now & doesn't need another big contract. Rather save those picks for a forward like Ingram.
