He was kinda evasive about the “staying long term” questions, but it is still to be determined if a trade will even happen based on how he is talking.

Think its going to be a mistake to get rid of your 2 best shooting guards in 1 season ( Hield / Duarte ). Tyrese was really effective on kick out 3’s last season and that won’t be there this year unfortunately. I do think Ben Shep can fill that role as a shooting guard, I just don’t see Rick starting Shep over Bruce / Mathurin.. even if shooting is needed in the starting lineup.

Imagine being a sixers fan or a portland fan a week ago. Honestly its fine. We should keep him because hes gonna help us win games as a tandem w Nembhard on the second unit, where he will be the featured scorer. With buddy i dont care about timeline shit. We know hes good and that he cant guard. Second unit is perfect. Don’t trade him.
