I was hoping they would start Kuminga in Draymond’s absence so that CP3 could get used to running the 2nd unit, and also when Dray returns, they don’t have to shift the whole lineup schematic.

Steph moves over to SG and CP3 of course is the Pg, but Steph always moved more like a SG anyway so CP3 should fit

Yikes. Not concerned about the shots, but I really wonder how Klay will look on the defensive side this year. I know he’s not the 2 way Klay he used to be, but hopefully a full off season did him well to get fit and get some of his lateral movement back.

Draymond’s injury, hopefully he can return for opening night, but it allows the Warriors the opportunity to test CP3 with Steph in the backcourt….but Dray is such an integral part of the Dubs lineup that it’s still not really an accurate representation of how the Warriors would look with CP3 in the starting lineup for the real show.
We could get a glimpse of how they hold up defensively and how Klay/Wiggins holds up as a PF.
