Bucks fan here is who SUPER SAD to see Jrue go. An integral part of our roster/one of the main reasons we won in 2021. That being said, if I'm the Bucks GM I make this move 10/10 times. It's time we shift our defensive focus to offensive. I wish Jrue all the best in the upcoming season – even if I don't wish the Celtics the same lol
Anything is possible but jrue’s defense which will show to be mediocre without historically great defensive bigs behind him won’t make up for his streaky shooting. KP also isn’t a reliable big either for the biggest problem they’ll face all playoffs.
Jrue shoots like garbage in the playoffs, so much so that it negates anything he does on defense. And, as mentioned, in the half court he throws a lot of lazy/errant passes. That’s said, he’s an absolute lockdown defender, and should have won DPOY over Marcus Flop.
When you have a top 6 as good as theirs saying their 7-9th guy determines their championship odds is such a joke lol. You could literally apply this logic to every contender and say you have questions about their 7th – 9th guy. Truth is those players are looking at 15-12mins of action.
Marcus smart had better chemistry with Tatum , Brown, and White 😮.
Not if they're going to chuck up 3s and let Tatum & Brown go iso in crunch time.

How did Jrue shoot in the past two playoffs though?
People say it’s Celtics big 4 vs bucks big 2 but bucks also have brook lopes and Middleton 2 players that are good enough to cause trouble for opposing teams. Also giannis is better then Tatum and brown and so is lillard.
Boston’s problem is Tatum is a soft. Until he stops being soft they won’t win anything. Jrue is a really good player but people are vastly overrating the man.
Every team go through that you could say that about any team but in the playoffs you only going 7 8 or 9 deep anyway sleeping on Prichard and sam hauser

I get so down seeing the Celtics make the right moves.
Man the sixers are just stuck in round 2.
I thought we might get jrue for harden.
The Celtics top 6 players should average 110 every night. I don't think getting 10-15 points from the rest of the bench will be that hard to do. The ceitics averaged 117.9 a game last year, and led the league with a +6.3 pt differential. This year, that number will be closer to 10 even if they allow the same number of points because their offense is easily 2-4 pts better. There isn't a team in the league that can match that or compete with it. No one got as better as Boston, including Milwaukee and Phoenix.
They should be able to add wing and big depth through the deadline and buyout market with a lot of 2nd round picks
Jrue isn’t going to be the guy to put them into the finals. He ain’t. Dame on the other hand..it’s his time
