Heading into the season, one of the main aspects to look at was the SG position for the New York Knicks. Not only that, we wanted to understand how Donte, Grimes, Quickley & Brunson would be used together. Thankfully, Donte DiVincenzo himself responded to questions about his role on the Knicks and his usage. We also get an update from the Knicks on how they will handle the backup power forward position. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

With the exception of RJ and Fournier, Thibs has all the type of players on the roster that he prefers. RJ could end up being the odd man out if he doesn't take a leap this season.

I don't like Josh Hart as the backup Power Foward he is undersized.I would like to see Jericho Sims get more time this year. RJ Barrett should play Shooting Guard he played better at this position

In today's game it can work with Hart backing up both forward positions.Obviously there will be times when Simms will have to fill in
I agree with you but I also don’t think it’s a big deal. Thibideau said Josh and Barrett are options that doesn’t mean he’s going to use them exclusively as backup PF. I think he likes Roby more than you guys think. He keeps mentioning Josh and Barrett because you guys are so concerned about a big name for the backup job and there’s no big name so uses Josh and Barrett to calm you guys down. Roby will be a great fit.
I think Sims should get some minutes. He’s young, athletic, to me did a decent job when given minutes last yr. Gotta grow and develop ya young guys!!! That makes players wanna play for the Knicks too!!! Can’t wait to see what they do this year!!! Let’s Go Knicks!!!
I think Thibs has a better crew this year to work with and more trust and confidence in his young players now, he knows what they can do. They have been there awhile.

I'm uneasy about the backup pf position. I think that could have severe consequences. Hoping for the best and hoping the front office has a backup plan in case it doesn't work.
With Nate Knight there no he shouldn't once in a while I can see a small second set of 4. Out of 5 on the floor but only when it makes sense y have a shadow of Randle like Nate Knight and play small off the bench and PF makes no sense TIBBS is only doing this mess back to the he same ole like Burks playing point ,,please lose em ,time to be released from TIBBS
We need to seriously make a move for OG RT NOW AND SITUATE THINGS NOW WHILE WE HAVE A CHANCE WE WILL THAT MUCH BETTER AND CLOSER 😄
