He’s a more consistent shooter from three. Defensively, he’s more patient as well. Better fit. Vando has the energy and motor. Interchangeable based on matchups I’m sure.

I could see them giving Reaves some games off initially in pre season cause he played in the summer.

My only gripe with this team is the defense. Kinda sucks that we really only have 2 good defensive guards and 1 won’t play. Gabe & AR aren’t pushovers tho so I’m interested to see more defense from them.

I’ve been saying since they signed Prince that he should be in the conversation to start but it seems almost everyone just disregards him and only considers Vando and Rui. He’s the middle ground between them and fits best with the starters. He’s the best shooter and a solid defender. Vando is great defense but bad shooting and offense. Rui is average at best defense and good scoring but outside of a 1 month stretch a bad shooter.
Rui provides the most value by coming in for Lebron at the 6 min mark because his scoring will be more valuable. With the starters he’s the 5th option but he can move up to the 2nd or 3rd option by coming off the bench and we can take advantage of his best asset for more of his minutes.
If Vando hasn’t improved his shooting he’s a defensive specialist and will be used when that’s most needed. Some nights that might be starting, others off the bench.
