    Scoot has been playing against grown men for a while now, both professionally and during the summer. His learning curve as a rookie won’t be quite as severe as it would be for your average rookie. He being a PG does make it more difficult than it would be for other positions, but he also has all the ability in the world to be an incredibly dynamic PnR and transition threat immediately. And he has the pieces around him to thrive in those sets.

    I think he’s the safest prediction for ROTY, honestly. I don’t bet, but if I did I’d put it on Scoot. He’s going to post a 27 usage rate season, and I kind of doubt Chet or Wemby hit the 65 threshold.
