I think Giannis is going to take more of a defensive role this year because he doesn’t have to bring the ball up all night long.
Did you knwo that Dame wingspan is 6'8 while his hight is only 6'2, Curry is the same hight with 6'2 but only has 6'4 wingspan. If curry can play decent defense, Dame has longer reach, heavier, and more athletic, so Dame should do fine.

It is obvious slow footed big man has come back in a big way, with Jokic AD Embiid sitting at the top of the league. Why do you think teams are unable to run them off the floor versus 7 years ago when it seems they have no place in this run and gun league. Arguably today's league has even more sharp shooters and talented perimeter players than 2017 but now it's the smaller teams who are having trouble.

Everything depends on Middleton this year, if he's in a good condition and can perform well on both ends of the floor, the Bucks will be really tough to beat. I'm saying this because you pretty much know what you're getting from Dame and Giannis, but Khris is very unlucky with his health the last years, his scoring is also pretty erratic, one day he can score 40 points, the other day 5. So if Middleton shows up and can score 20-30 points average while playing good defense as well, everything is good. I have similar concerns about Lopez, we don't know his condition and if he can perform on the same level as last season, i really hope he does!
I want the Bucks to try to make some additional move until the trade deadline, they need some wing depth, because now they somewhat lack in that department in terms of size and mobility. They brought in a lot of rookies as well, which is good, but are they really going to play during the playoffs?

The Bucks were a great defensive team before Jrue they will be fine. Jrue made them even better of course. What the Bucks gained on offense trumps what they lost on defense it’s that simple
