Is Austin Rivers Right About The Charlotte Hornets? Rivers recently went on a podcast and talked about how the Charlotte Hornets need to surround LaMelo Ball with more talent. I am sure many Charlotte Hornets’ fans agree with that statement. But there were many fans screaming that he doesn’t know ball and that the Hornets have done enough. But if we look back, this change has only been recent. LaMelo has not had the best talent or situation around him since his time here in Charlotte. This current team may be the best team he has had and that’s a little unsettling considering the glaring holes in this team.

It's a losing culture here, lets be honest here. Mitch won't pull the trigger on anything! New ownership seems eeriely similar to Jordans. At some point ya have to go for it and make some moves that show our olayers and fans that they care about this team. Missed on a lot of drafts and eventually players like Melo will start asking out. Miller better become a all-star and All-NBA type player very quickly. Last thing Melo needs to stay on the damn court cause its trending to him being injury prone like the rest if his family……
What if Melo agreed to 100M instead of 200M to leave $ for more talent? What would that team look like?
