We’ve heard that Vando and Prince have gotten reps there. Did we hear anything about Rui playing with the starters? I remember a vid of him wearing the starter unis but not sure if that’s official.

  2. As posted in the off season last year, it was going to be a roller coaster ride. This year, efficiency is they key, defense is bread & butter while hitting your shots. There’s too much depth to not expect Ham to sit a player who’s been struggling while someone else capitalizes on the opportunity, thus it comes down to executing your part/role.

With the other 4 starters confirmed, the 5th guy must be Vando by sheer necessity on the perimeter for defense. Otherwise, we have no legitimate POA perimeter defender, unless it’s some wild card like Max Christie.

Darvin keeping his hands in his pockets to start the pre-season.

  5. Vando is the best choice. You can hide his offense and let him focus on playing defense.

Rui gets more scoring opportunities off the bench as well. I’m not buying the Prince noise as starter.

it’s just preseason, what’s the big deal? Or was this question in regards to the starting five for the actual season opener.

I get it. D’Moi’s just a 2-way and he knows it will make waves.

I’m hoping it’s Vando starting but honestly you can make arguments for Rui or Prince.

Now I’m worried for rui benching him after his playoff performance might be a mental punch for him. BUT stick with Vando. Defense wins chips.

    Ham: “here’s a hint, he’s not a forward or a center.”

I seriously doubt if Ham really said that. Why would he intentionally tell players, “hey, it doesn’t matter how hard you work or how well you play, I’ve already selected the starting lineup and my decision won’t be affected by player performance — but, then again, I’m not gonna tell you who it is”? That would be absurd.

Wow wow wow they’re saving up the big reveal that they traded away the entire bench and AD for Kyrie until game day, it’s gonna be great.

I fine with either Rui or Vando. If it’s Prince Ham should be fired.

i don’t have any objections to who starts. my only suggestion is for the coach to be able to adjust their tactics based on the situation on the field, rather than rigidly sticking to a specific game plan & small lineups.
i’m not worried about the regular season, we have a deep roster. I just worries about the playoffs.

It’s to trick the nbs by launching a matchup that they didn’t expect!
