  1. Anyone else notice Jabari Smith Jr has gotten bigger IJS LETS GO ROCKETS

  2. Loved the ep, as far as the Harden strays it seems to contradict what (young) players have said about him in the past, but you do you.

  3. Hey Jackson I've enjoyed your podcast for years but I find myself annoyed with your constant and continuing criticism of Stephen Silas. Just let it go, bro! I'm not a huge Silas fan, and I totally agree that the Rockets needed a new coach, but harping on Silas months after he was fired feels emotionally petty and intellectually dishonest. Sure, Silas made a number of questionable decisions, but let's remind ourselves of the team's talent level: 1) Christian "Post Oak" Wood who is now on a veteran minimum; 2) KPJ is out of the league, a confirmed culture cancer, and widely regarded as a poor fit at point guard; 3) EG is now on a veteran minimum; 4) last years' backup point guard is out of the league; 5) last year's third-string point guard is on a two-way deal: 6) Jabari clearly wasn't NBA ready, as is now widely acknowledge; and 7) last year's two backup centers are out of the league. A lot of the specific criticisms of Silas relative to Ime are just silly. "Finally, we have a coach who believes in Segun and wants him to shoot more" is, um, somewhat at odds with Ime's burning desire to sign Brook Lopez, which doesn't exactly shout "We believe in Sengun"! Silas may not be a great head coach, but he poured his heart and soul into the team (perhaps that was a big part of his problem) and is widely regarded around the league as a class act and a genuinely nice person (again, perhaps too nice for his own good). He was almost immediately hired as an associate head coach by Monty Williams, who is a great head coach (highest-paid in the league!), so it isn't immediately obvious that Silas is an idiot who deserves your continuing criticism which sometimes borders on ridicule. Can we just let it go and look forward to a bright Rocket's future? Is it possible to be excited about this team without criticizing last year's coach?

  4. Silas was garbage and it’s become far more evident (not like the eye test didnt prove it years ago)

  5. Jackson, we are in what feels like a golden age of Rockets coverage and nobody is doing it better than you. I really don't think the execution and quality of your content could be any better right now. Everything you do is so purposeful and the diehards appreciate it.
