Everyone talks about Masai being hard to deal with meanwhile we hear potential deals like this ?? He’s not hard to deal with, he’s being offered scraps bcuz teams believe that all players just walk away from Toronto and Toronto better take our scraps or they will lose more. Like who out there thought that Vanvleet would get the contract he got? No one, and besides, no one else was even interested in Freddy so it’s not Masais fault. Not a huge fan of Masai lately BUT the Fred thing isn’t his fault. I wouldn’t have signed Fred for 30 million. Why? Simply he’s not that good. Good for him that he got his cake but just not here. If teams want our good players then stop thinking we are losing all of them and pony up or shut up.
