  1. Bucks vs Lakers in the finals. Boston and the Nuggets lost important depth. Phoenix lacks defense.

  2. You had to clarify of course , but Joel is like a huge looser. I don't mind saying it , i am not getting paid for this comment 🙂

  3. no mention of th Cavs? Haven't they leapfrogged over Philly and the Heat, due to the Cavs quality off season signings?

  4. do you know what’s very boring about professional basketball?
same teams, same names, same thoughts, same everything. year, after year, after year.

of course you will follow the big names.
no, team, could ever have any chance,
after all, that wouldn’t create sponsorship, or popularity, or anything of any unique anything.

the nba, is nothing more than a high school popularity contest where whoever has the most money and fame is always going to be your, ‘pick’

and, it’s correct, it’s nice and safe and totally gonna be one of your ‘predictions’

i and many others will start watching again when it becomes unpredictable

    not predictable

  5. Lakers aren’t tier 1 lol. The second they played a healthy elite team they got swept. They can still win a championship but they still aren’t tier 1.

  6. Classic JJ adding the Lakers in his tier 1 for views and leaving the Celtics out of the title completely

  7. That draftkings money must be nice. They really throw it at podcasters like it's nothin.

  8. Im trying to understand why JJ with so much basketball knowledge doesn't have the Clippers anywhere in that list.

Even with them being injured. When healthy they're top 5

  9. Lakers not in the playoffs this season and Suns a six seed in the West after Nuggets, Kings, Grizzles, OKC, Warriors.

No way AD and LeBron will stay healthy and tte rest of the team hust not competitive without them.

  10. Dallas Mavericks not being here is crazy. They’ve the 2nd best player in the league & the only guy who can go h2h against Jokic & outplay him in a playoffs

  11. Celtics vs Suns Finals will be 🔥 Celtics will win that series in 6 tho

  12. Celtics
    Bucks
    Nuggets
    Suns

    (Huge Cliff)

    Warriors
    Clippers
    Lakers

    (Bigger cliff)

    Everyone else

  13. My Tier One Teams – Nuggets, Suns, Celtics, Bucks, (top contenders)

My Tier Two Teams – Warriors, Lakers, Clippers, Cavs (contenders)

My Tier Three Teams – Kings, Grizzlies, 76ers, Knicks, Pelicans, Heat, (high playoffs chances)

My Tier Four Teams – Hawks, Pacers, Bulls, Thunder, Mavericks, Rockets, Jazz, Timberwolves, Blazers, Magic, Nets (good play-in chance/possible playoffs)

My Tier 5 Teams – Pistons, Spurs, Raptors, Hornets, Wizards, (low play-in chances/miss playoffs)

Let me know what you guys think

  14. Iam srry but to me, the suns dnt belong in tier 1. I respect how offensively great they mostly likely will be. But they lack defense and bench depth. They will be very interesting to watch tho. 🤷🏿‍♂️

  15. Everybody so excited to se a dame and Gianni’s pick and roll.. but let’s be real it won’t be better than harden and embiid and look how far it got them

  16. Celtics also lost Rob Williams, i obviously know the health history…but when he is on the court the team was significantly better and he finally had a whole offseason to train instead of rehab. Thats a big loss, especially since porzinguz has his own health issues and Al is 54 years old and doesnt play back to backs.

  17. While the Celtics will be a tough out; they haven't proven that they can get over the hump in the playoffs. So realistically the only true contender in the East would be the Bucks. Obviously it's early projections, but until the Jays prove they can be consistent in the POs.

  18. Jrue is way better than smart, playoffs.. jrue had 2 game winning defensive plays against smart. celtics did good grabbing him.. feel bad for jrue, moving and switching schools. I would have been completely fine with jrue staying in milwaukee.. but,, it is what it is… go bucks

  19. Crazy to hear you put the Pistons in a tier of their own above tier 1 and also predict the warriors to go 0-82, but then again you are JJ so who am I to question it?
