The Warriors Have LOST THEIR MINDS

Today we’re going to be talking about the Golden State Warriors and their recent talks of having Chris Paul in the starting lineup alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green. After the Warriors traded for Chris Paul, fans were wondering how they would utilize their aging all star guard. They would soon get their answer, as multiple sources confirmed that he would be featured in the starting lineup during the season, leading to even more confusion. 1. It would kind of make sense if he played on the bench (a veteran for the young players that can sometimes score) but neither side want to admit that. Paul will probably start for the first 30 games and then they’ll realize that it won’t work 😂

  2. yeah, def stupid but u know how ridiculously they are obsessed w guards. Ton's of downside, & only upside i see is more spacing for everyone. Also, i just think they doin it to finesse CPs ego

  3. congrats on 100k big dawg i remeber bein here when u was little and didnt just do warriors videos 😂

  4. If the Warriors meet the Lakers Nuggets Suns or Grizzlies in the playoffs they are going home because they have size…

    Lakers: AD, Woods, Hayes,
    Nuggets: Jokic, Gordon, DJ,
    Suns: KD, Nurkic, Bol,
    Grizzlies: Jackson Jr, Adams, Tilman,

    Warriors: Looney…

Teams are going to outrebound and bully the warriors offensively… They’ll ship off CP3 once the record starts to show… The same way the Lakers had to ship off Westbrook to turn their season around… How you gone have a 6’6 Klay Thompson guarding dudes like Zion, AD, and KD?

He finna get torched and bullied

  5. they will most definitely bring either klay or draymond off and play kuminga a lot more with CP. I would say we will rarely see draymond or CP at the same time, because they have similar roles and probably on ball% in the system.

  6. What the hell are the Golden State Warriors thinking? They should have Chris Paul come off the bench?

  7. I still don't understand this whole starting thing, what's the point if you still get your normal minutes

  8. One thing I forgot to mention, Even if he doesn’t start, Kerr has floated the idea of him still playing heavy mins, which at this point doesn’t seem like a positive when talking about an aging guard that’s already injury prone, but 🤷🏾‍♂️

  9. I dont know where you getting this info. Last time I checked both Curry and Paul are point guards. It makes no sense to have them on court at the same time. So the idea that Looney gets benched so Paul can play with Steph is laughable. They are both mid to late 30s, both not the best defender and both are quite small. So the reasoning behind this trade can be one of two things and probably Dubs are waiting which one it's gonna be depending on how it plays out. Either Paul can take over whenever Curry is not playing, hence help Curry rest more so he's healthy and in shape for the play offs. Or Dubs will trade Paul mid-season or after this season. Mind you, they traded Poole for him. They traded Poole because the chemistry was gone and Poole had an expensive contract which they traded for Paul's short and much less expensive contract, iirc it's 30 mill in the first year and in the 2nd 30 but only 15 guaranteed. Put it this way, it seems obvious that these trade was basically a marriage based on reason. Not love.

  10. I think people forget that in 2018 the houston rockets had the best record in regular season and almost eliminate the durant warriors and the starting team was cp3 hardem eric gordon ariza and capela that was an even worse defensive lineup than curry cp3 klay wiggs and draymond. I dont know if they are gonna be the regular starters probably not but i am sure that lineup will close a lot of games like they used to do with jordan poole that by the way was a way worse defender than cp3. I think people is overreacting about the size and the fit with the warriors but i think the narrative will change soon when people start watching the offensive potential of that lineup.

  11. First off, I'm just going to form my opinions about this lineup after the preseason. I might have to look up some defensive ratings on small ball lineups in the recent past to get an idea of how bad they might be defensively, but the best way to find out is to just watch them play the preseason games with this lineup. If they suck, they're unlikely to improve through the regular season.

Secondly, Klay at the 4 defensively just seems like something they'll decide based on matchups. A lot of other teams run wings at the 4, which Klay can defend if they're somewhat slow footed and are trying to use their size to find advantage. If it's a forward that's got a really quick motor and good athleticism, Klay would probably match up poorly. The best example is Giannis of course, but nobody's guarding Giannis one on one anyway, so let's say ball handling forwards like Paolo Banchero, or Jimmy Butler, or Tatum. These guys are all fast enough that I'd definitely feel more comfortable with Wiggins on them, so he can use his twitchiness and bounce and quick recovery speed to counter their agility. If it's a slower footed 4 who is unlikely to be the offense creator, like Jarred Vanderbilt or Bojan Bogdanovic or Keegan Murray, Klay probably has a handle on it. He's still pretty good at giving ground on his terms and just making it tough to shoot over him.

I'm quite curious about the Magic game coming up soon, because they are likely to run a front court of Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. I'd think even Franz is too dangerous with his height and shooting for Klay to guard properly, so I wonder if they'd just bring in a bench big if things get out of hand there.

  12. What's so hard to understand? What do the Warriors suffer from most? Turnovers! Especially the non Curry minutes! When Poole came in to run the second squad it was a hot mess! With CP3 and the vets with Kaminga and Moody no more turnover fest! No more losing leads…No more just giving games away! If you believe it will work or not is another story but to say I don't get why is stupid…

  13. Please stop acting like you don't know how we got here. It was about dumping Poole, then the W.Wizards made the only offer whatever, Paul was the only thing they offered and they took it. ITS NOT LIKE THEY WENT SHOPPING FOR PAUL. STOP ACTING LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW WE GOT HERE.

  14. The warriors offense can be predictable and inefficient cp3 brings a new dynamic and can help keep leads when curry on the bench idk how ppl can’t see his value to this team

  15. They are staring CP3 so they can start seeing how some of the rotations will work in a game. I doubt the starters play more than the first half of Saturday’s preseason game.

Loon has always had min restrictions. He doesn’t play more than 25 min a game so you are definitely going to have some smaller lineups. When he’s not on the floor you often see Klay defend the 4. This isn’t new. Last year, the last Kings game of the season they ran a lineup of Steph/Klay/Donte/GP2/Loon. GP2 guarded the point of attack and Klay was guarding Harrison Barnes who is the 4. In the playoffs when there were lineups of Steph, Klay, JP, Wiggins, Loon/Dray, Wiggins guarded Fox and Klay was on Barnes.

  16. The lineups should be the usual starting five and the bench should be CP3, GP2, Moody, Kuminga, Saric. Switch Dario at the starting 5 depending on the situation.

  17. cp starting is 100% a move the warriors are doing to appease his ego. when it’s proven that it’s not working i expect them to sit him down and move him to the bench.

playing cp3 heavy minutes tells me they’re not keeping him next season cause his contract is non-guaranteed so they can cut him for nothing so they don’t care about conserving his health for the following season.

  18. Boy I tell u the cp3 hate is real if the warriors couldn't make kd feel welcome they definitely hate you Chris hope they trade us cause this is about be crazy hate

  19. If the suns could make it to the finals with cp3-book-mikal-crowder-ayton, a relatively small lineup, im positive a lineup of cp3-curry-klay/wiggins-draymond-looney would be alright at least in the reg season

  20. I'm withholding judgement until it plays out. CP could change the turnover-happy attitude that the first team has had for years while DG is recovering, forcing DG use his noggin a little more once he comes back.
