Lakers had they run already AD not reliable .
I think the audio may not be working
Is he going to continue team rankings or is he going to ignore them since now theres actually something else to talk about with preseason starting
Such a shame that Jason over the top basketball iq and knowledge gets wasted in his Laker delusion/bias
Boring zzzzzz
MAILBAG: I hear a lot of players and coaches talk about one of the main things they place an emphasis on is âAccountabilityâ ⊠Are they talking about getting star players to buy in or what do they mean by that?
As a Dubs fan, I got a lot of respect for the Lakers this season due in large part to, Austin Tyler Reaves. Iâve watched him from afar from the beginning of his rookie year and he continues to amaze me in so many ways! It borders on Steph Vibez. Thatâs why, I expect him to be an all-star this year and the Lakers will probably be better than us because we have a lot of unanswered questions going into this year. Be seeing yâall! †â€
Are the lakers just going to throw their body into whoeverâs guarding them and flail their arms 50 times a game again?
40 minutes on Lakers? Praise Mr. LTđ
Mailbag question: In the last mailbag you discussed the teams who have the most pressure to win a championship this season. I'm interested to know which PLAYERS in your opinion have the most pressure to win the title this season? And secondly is KD one of them due to his titles being on arguably the most talented squad in history and I feel like in many fans' eyes he might be to a lesser degree in the same position Steph was before the title in '22.
Mailbag: would you ever accept a role in a debate show like first take, undisputed or first things first? Probably not your style but you would SCHOOL those guys
You cover the Lakers for The Athletic and you donât do your homework. Malone didnât say he was the âLakersâs daddyâ, he was introduced by a local sports personality as the Lakersâ daddy. Come on you are better than that. Donât be lazy. Check your facts.
People need to understant that The Volume is a company, if the Warriors and the Lakers generate the most views (which they do) then Jason is gonna continue to talk about them. If you don't like it then don't watch but the analysis is still top tier imo.
What happened to the top five of the team countdown??
If youâre not a Lakers fan, this episode is not for you, respectfully. No need to cry about them covering the Lakers in the comments.
Athletic alchemy is the best Warriors channel on YouTube.. would love to see a similar type format focused on warriors
40 minutes on the Lakers means rents due but that doesn't mean I'm not happy about it
Mailbag: youve said the Lakers could have flipped the WCF as the games were close and if James and Davis had shot better then they would have won.
What about the counter argument that there is an even higher off risk that Lakers lose to the Warriors? 2 of the Lakers wins were by 3 and 5 points. Thompson and Poole shot further below their average than James and Davis did against the Nuggets. I would argue there was a better chance of Warriors beating the Lakers than the Lakers beating the Nuggets.
All just angels dancing on the head of a pin though. Lakers won, then Nuggets won.
I donât get what ppl see with the warriors being good this year. They didnât even get better at all compared to last year n they didnât have that good of a season last year. Yeah theyâll have Wiggins back but Dray isnât the same player obviously n klay didnât look great last year either. The bench also looks bad for them
Teams never win with Chris Paul… big mistake. He's a moody no-it-all.
Yâall haters fans of the lakers on the low cause yâall cry about people always talking bout them but you dudes still watch đđđ
The lakers lost to the nuggets because AD could not guard the joker .. itâs 2024 and we still donât have anyone that can D joker
4th training covering the team, a mere Babe, I guess this is an all time high for 4 seasons, not much depth here.
Can barley hear other dude, kinda ruined it i woulda watched it otherwise but audio LLLLLL
I feel like people are overestimating the PHX offense and underestimating the Lakers defense.Defensively, I think they will be a match up nightmare for the Suns. I think their depth will increase the chances of a "Lonnie Walker" effect. The Warriors had no answer for Lonnie because they didnt game plan for him. Teams cant game plan for the entire Laker bench so I think many will have issues dealing with them during the regular season.
Bro if yâall thought I was a Lebron fan wait til Max goes tf off this year! I still think we should have gave him more minutes last year in the playoffs
I think putting Christian Wood on KD might be a good idea, considering they have a similar build and the fact that he can guard the perimeter a bit.
Great content! Gives in depth analysis
