Great podcast this morning. I like that you are emotional and excited for the Jazz season to start. Cool to see that emotion shows you are still a fan and care, this isnât just a job for you. I really like who you would pair in the backcourt. By the numbers it is THT and Jordan Clarkson. But I am pilling for Dunn and Clarkson, or THT and Clarkson, and let Collin and Agbaji feast on the second teamâŠ
It's gotta be sexton and clarkson starting. Clarkson not good enough handle for point guard but big help to sexton as secondary ball handler with no other starters that can do it assuming markkanen, collins and kessler. They'd probably love to start horton-tucker and go big but he's new to the position so probably second unit along with agbaji, fontecchio, olynyk and yurtseven or maybe hendricks who i think is only rookie that will see playing time until 2nd half of season. Dunn very capable and play spot minutes for foul trouble or injuries. Think that second unit going to awesome, maybe better than first and key to making playoffs.
Gotta let the young guys get their feet wet in the G-League!
Yesterday I watched several Jazz games from last year some early in the season, some in middle of the season, and some at end of the season. I forgot how good Clarkson was last year. I wasnt a fan of his re-signing but after yesterday he is needed especially at the end of games. I also forgot how good the Jazz were offensively and bad defensively. Are the Jazz going to stress defense this year? Will the zone be back?
As you obviously were trying to be dramatic in the delivery of your understanding of what the coach said and/or meant… your choice of words was despicable. You owe an apology to Coach Hardy for your choice of words.
I was hoping sexton would get a chance to breakout at the start of this season alongside clarkson and solidify his role as starting PG but after hearing the tht clarkson numbers it does make me less sure. Im liking the idea of a very big long tall starting 5. I just cant wait to see
Locker does not know jack… just drama! He likes to think people don't know his position with the team and such.. haha
The anti-Rookie agenda on here is weird sometimes. The fact that the rookies have to earn it is a given. It's the same on every team across the league. Obviously the rookies have to earn it. That doesn't mean that they won't earn it. These guys are talented and if they are ready to play and can help the team, they will get minutes. A guy like Keyonte isn't having his will broken. He's too talented for that to happen.
Kris Dunn will be a positive influence on George and sexton. Canât wait for those to go after each other in training camp.
