[Bondy] Evan Fournier: “You guys might think I’m crazy but I’m coming here to play.” Added that he brings things that can help the team.

That’s up to thibs. Hope he’s improved his defense

Hey I’m down for anything that helps the team win. Clearly Evan was not a scrub a few years ago so show us something

I mean we do need spacing. I wasnt watching last season due to personal reasons so idk what his play is really like. He was a 40% 3pt shotter his whole career other than last season but last season i’d say is an outlier. We need people that can play sf. I dont see why not

He should already know what it takes for him to get playing time. We all know he can shoot. Play some damn defense.

  5. Snuggle__Monster

He must have realized his comments were pretty dumb and can impact how other teams look at him next year. Why would anyone want to sign a guy with limited tools that complains?

The problem is Evan does have skills that help the team, like his outside shooting.

Except his defense is so bad it completely negates it

Clown Fournier if you want but this is a great attitude to have going into a new season.

The last thing we need is this guy moping around like Cam Reddish and bringing the overall vibe down.

The grind of an 82 game season is gonna make room for Fournier, be it injuries or someone going thru a cold stretch. If he can give us anything whenever he sees a court, that’s a win and a slight boost to his trade value.

I mean weed is legal now. Maybe hes just faded everyday.

I’m here to tell you right now Evan Fournier, we don’t care, hehe I mean we don’t give a damn okay!

let him play opening night against the celtics and light them up

  11. staywavie

Buy him out already. Why carry this into the season?

  12. wizardofweird

Hope he’s a least a neutral locker room presence and not a thorn in everyone’s side

  13. EliManningsPetDog

Wait this guy is STILL on the team we haven’t moved him yet?

  14. manfromfuture

He can play the small-ball 4 with the 3rd group.

  15. chop2Dneck

As much as we’d be cool getting a check to just show up, he’s a baller and wants to play. I can’t fault the man for that. What athlete is going to say “I’m washed and can’t do a thing for the team–but not going to retire though”?

  16. Ronnie2kDropCode

He shoulda been saying this the entire time. Like he was trash last season but he can definitely win the 10th man spot

Sad part is that he would have been so helpful against the Heat when they packed the paint in the playoffs. Think the defense and rebounding are keeping him glued to the bench.

Trade him for a bag of a Ruffles already.
