I’m not sure moving Lowry would bode well with the team. They have taken a real liking to him and making any more moves would rattle players more and create a distraction.
I get trying to move Lowry’s contract for something better, but I do not understand the willingness to move Duncan. His contract is quite reasonable and he’s more valuable when comparing contracts around the league. Not to mention, he’s the only full-time 3pt shooter in Miami with Max gone.

Harden is more than just a 'traditional' Point Guard. He can facilitate as one but the more important option he brings is his scoring ability, which will help alleviate some of the offensive woes when Jimmy cannot do it (whether through injury or whatever). If the cost is just Lowry+Draft Pick then it's a no brainer.

Buy Harden for Penny's on the dollar and try him at PG. I can't stand Harden but if he got his crap together and is placed at PG, that would get my attention. If he acts up, sell him for less pennies on the dollar.

Harden wants to go to Miami because of the strip and nightclubs. That's it. NOT because of Heat culture. Spo has enough headaches. Then again as Draymond said on his podcast 'ever wonder why no one gets intro trouble in Miami? IN Miami, of all places". Harden quits when it gets tougher and we dont need another attention whore.
You guys are delusional thinking Lowry would get Harden here. The best trade scenario is Herro for Harden. Off load the 30mil and keep Lowry as a back up PG in his final contract year. Next year we have 60mil in contracts off the books and resign Harden for the 4yr max, keeping Caleb and Duncan our only true shooter. That would save us 10-12mil on the cap for another contract we can retain.
