Also leads the league in lowest fg% allowed being the nearest defender since 2019. Giannis versatility is what makes him great, Jrue is a elite perimeter defender. Giannis is a good perimeter defender, great wing defender, elite rim protector and elite help defender. Giannis versatility clears him of Jrue by a fucking mile
jrue has been a liability for the bucks on offense, they double Giannis off Jrue. when playoff games come Jrue has shot less than 40% multiple times, while rivaling Giannis in shots. Jrue is innefficient in the playoffs. in both of the Bucks exists the last two years Jrue has shot horrendously

The bucks were a top 5 defense without Jrue, with fucking Eric Bledsoe, George Hill and Malcolm Brogdon. The bucks have had a great defense for the last decade for 1 reason. This defense is anchored by Giannis, not by Jrue. Giannis versatility and help defense is what makes them defend as well as they have. The Bucks in 2018-19 had a team defensive rating of 105.2, before Jrue got there in 2020 Bucks had a rating of 102.9. The following season with Jrue thier rating jumped up to 111.4, then 111.8, then 111.9. Statistically thier team defense has gotten worse since Jrue got there. But still they are top 5 every year, not because of Jrue, but because of Giannis

I will say this, trading Jrue was a mistake. If anything i would've traded Kris Middleton. Aside from that, Bucks lost a lot of depth which is key to any championship team. I think the Bucks will make a deep run, but not get the chip this season. That will go to Boston
