  1. Iguana should of had a better career then he did. It is unfortunate that Philly never got the surrounding parts around him to be an actual competitor

  2. Malone poked fun at LeBron's potential 'retirement' announcement meant to distract from the fact the Lakers got curb stomped. That's it. Other comments were made by local Denver media. This is manufactured spice. The real issue is the shock of Lakers Nation that the 'lowly' Nuggets crushed them. Here's the problem. Since Jeannie Buss took over the Lakers the Nuggets have been the superior franchise. Over 100 more wins, more playoff appearances, just as many WCF appearances and titles and 2 MVP's to none for the Lakers. This isn't 1988 or 2010 anymore. That's ancient history. Lakers have work to do to catch the Nuggets.

  3. RJ still salty about his time in Denver where nobody respected him.

Lakers' best players are entering the twilight of their respective careers, what is a chip on their shoulders going to do? They've been embarrassed once & they'll be embarrassed again if they face the Nuggets. With all due respect, what the hell are geriatric LeBron & glassman Anthony Davis going to do to stop Jokic? Are Austin Reaves & Deangelo Russell going to do more to not get targeted & bodied on defense this time? At least Dennis was able to provide some resistance against Jamal, but that's gone now.

Lakers are pretenders & they have been for several seasons now. I don't understand the constant need for coastal media outlets to keep propping up this corpse of a team.

  4. Jokic had a leg injury, an arm injury, and was still recovering from covid, but he still showed up and played in Philly last year. On the other side, not only was Embiid running his mouth about Jokic before ducking playing in Denver again, but the coward didn't even go out on the bench to support his teammates.

  5. Lakers since LeBron arrived have been one of the most overrated teams in the NBA…outside of that 1 outlier season they've gotten bounced every year or missed the postseason entirely

  6. I'm pretty sure nuggets leading the west into post season and everyone counting them out put a chip on the nuggets shoulder. I hope they run it back.

  7. love how rj doesn't say what "malone said" because he legit doesn't know because it was like 3 things max you could say meanwhile the media and lakers fans were talking shit the whole lead up to that series. On ESPN the so called analysts who didn't even watch the number #1 seed in the west unanimously choose the 12th seeded lakers to beat them. So how about you show some accountability and stop slobbering over the lakers dick. Also it's Michael and he's not worried about the lakers

  8. Wow laker nation, come to europe to see whats cheering is about, Durant came and couldnt belive it… Richard never played on that lvl so he cant talk about it…

  9. No he made one joke about LeBron's fake retirement, which was a dumb publicity stunt shortly after the finals win that was worthy of being called out anyways. Other than that they're salty about what the TV broadcaster said when most of us in Colorado haven't even been able to watch our local channel on TV for half a decade now? It doesn't even compare to the disrespect the Nuggets were getting last year, and they swept y'alls ass and won a chip, they're allowed to talk

  10. I just think Malone is tired of hearing about the Lakers ad nauseam like the rest of us. This trash talk hype has been maligned and blown out of proportion. It's been fun. Lakers in 9!
