A win without a bunch of guys and MarJon was the leading scorer, I’m very happy.

  2. madisontakes

Got the W. Marjon leading scorer. AJJ looked really solid on D. Perfect start to the preseason

  3. yeahbuddy186

Somehow this team is even better than I thought

    TIMME TIME BITCH

Go Bucks. Hell yeah. Also it’s always fun watching Thanasis play, what an absurd dude to see on an NBA court and while he’s obviously not truly rotation-caliber, he’s not a useless untalented bum, he’s actually very very awesome.

  5. GreekFreakFan

Bulls just lost to the other Antetokounmpo

  6. CupOfHotTeaa

breath of fresh air to see our young guys have energy and athleticism. However, Marjon is just trying to do too much imo. (that and 1 poster by the bulls tho, damn)

  7. RyanJStories

WE ARE SO BACK, DEEPEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE NOT CAPPING AT ALL

Good playcalls, amazing offensive looks, Timeout call???? Dream bucks basketball

  8. Skeleboi846

Lots of good stuff showcased. Good offensive sets, AJJ in fastbreak situations, starting group looked sharp.

I was honestly excited to watch Livingston so it’s a shame he was out but maybe we’ll see him in the next few

  9. PowerVeg

If Marjon can knock down open 3s at just a decent rate he’s the perfect 5th starter.

Active, long defender. Solid finisher with plus athleticism. Just need him to shoot well enough and the Bucks are golden. He really raises the ceiling of the team if he plays well.

    Key takeaways

    Beauchamp has matured a ton.

The young guys did well in a home opener with a rival team and a close finish. Super proud.

Rebounding and defense looked pretty good

    The coaching was very good.

  11. VexdCheese

    AJJ +10

    Thanasis with lots of dunks

    All is well

  12. AnonymousFroggies

    Literally undefeated

    League = fucked

  13. Wallyworld77

AJJ will be a walking Triple Double when he hits his prime.

  14. I’m going to have a hard time telling Portis & Bolden apart on my crappy stream. Both wear white headbands & t shirts & are 6’10, 250.

  15. iHeartArtHoes

but we have no bench right

rest of the league hasn’t figured out that its over yet 💀

  16. HappenedSafe

oh yeah, it’s all comin together now

  17. Blackmalico32

Love seeing the energy from Thanasis

  18. randyrectem

I couldn’t watch. Obviously the stats look pretty good but how did marjon look from the eye test? How was his defense?

  19. Comfortable-Win-5604

Andre Jackson with a team high +10

  20. sixpackabs592

brook lopez gonna be raining 3s all season

  21. Wallyworld77

I’d pay good money to watch the Bucks 1v1 tourney. HTF is that not a PPV? Marjon beat Giannis and Dame is wild.

  22. StressedByManyBooks

Interesting how khris wasn’t even on the bench during the game, but nonetheless Ajax & Marjon is the future

  23. robin7214

This game made me really love the Payne pickup cuz our shooting guards look good so far

  24. Muted_Ant_9249

Dame looks really happy there. Hes not coming back here to Portland, hes going to build a mansion out ther 😅

  25. I-Am-NOT-VERY-NICE

Anyone else feel like Jae had some energy to his movements, or is it just me?

Team feels like it has the potential to be pretty deep

  26. lowkytrash

Too early scouting report for Marjon:
    1. Athleticism: strength improved, more shoulder bumps incorporated into his drive. Controlled athleticism but needs to play through the contact with his push shots and make space for the floaters. Can’t rely on fouls to bail him or get the points.
    2. Attacking the close-out: the most important part to his game. Surprised to see him try to play-make in the drives with kick outs. Cautiously hopeful as he improved the handle.
    3. Handle: improved, but interested to see how he improves the timing. It’s smoother with the lateral crossovers that can help him be explosive. Still hesitant and cups it (travel call)
    4. Defense: you can see him eagerly offering off-side help. Kawhi-like tendency for reaching in for steals. Hopefully it translates with added strength and better timing throughout the season. Interested to see how he’ll handle POA defense/ on-ball
    5. Jump-shot: great free throw touches, nice to see him make a movement three. Mechanics are more compact than when he started. He has to be more eager to punish close outs with the catch and shoot three. Also shouldn’t hesitate for the occasional dribble 3 that can come from the hand-offs. We’ll see though.

Excited to see what he learns and adjust to the next game. Also, AJJ is special… has the soft skills down, from playmaking to defense to the elastic athleticism needed for switchable, versatile defense. Will eye-ball him next game or so. Lowkytrash scout out ✌🏼

  27. formercotsachick

Holy crap that was fun! Not sure if it’s the new coach, the baby Bucks, or I just missed the games, but I was thoroughly entertained.

  28. FutureBrilliant5917

MarJon needs more time, and I’m sure he’s gonna get it. He gets a little too hotheaded when physicality is needed and loses his touch. Really cool that he made those fts tho.

What I really loved was Jackson Jr. That kid looked really good.

  29. ThisWasMe7

Any chance TyTy gets playing time during the season?

  30. dassads

If Dame and/or Cam are out anymore preseason games I want AJJ as the starting point guard. He plays like a wing version of Celtics Rondo.
