  2. lopea182

Gotta have some tradeable salary laying around for a rainy day.

  3. Dude survived over Smart, Time Lord and Brogdon and now got paid, balls of steel

  4. pskill43

It’s refreshing to see an extension that isn’t north of 25m per year

  5. goofygoober2

Either he comes through this year with a bigger role or this is just some tradable salary

  6. MigsMaxx

I’m a fan of PP, happy he got extended, the talent is clearly there. Currently, the 3rd guard on the team, Cs counting on him to bring offence when subbed in!

  7. StefonDiggsHS

damn guess hes actually gonna play now

  8. Wishiwasaballerbaby

For a guy who was a rotation player on 2 playoff teams and played every game during the finals run fair contract for him and the team.

  9. Hot-Turnover4883

Im suprised he got extended considering he barely plays

  10. Extreme-Transport

The influencer girl he met a year ago and is married to is gonna love this 😭

  11. jrlandry

We paying everyone this summer damn (well besides Grant)

  12. ImTheBestNerd

Kinda random, don’t think he’s worth that at all

  13. Mikegetscalls

That’s a good just in case he’s actually pretty good we have him under contract deal

  14. pericles123

wait, a reasonable NBA contract? How did that happen?

  15. True2215

That’s a decent contract, I hope he gets more playing time this year. I think he will thanks to the trades.

  16. whiteyspidey

Think this will look like a bargain in a year or 2. He’s gonna play more this year and the cap is gonna keep rising

  17. Dymatizeee

Man stuck around to get paid. Good for him

  18. Celtics: so we have an extension offer we were thinking abou…

    Pritchard: Ill take it!

  19. thetruth0102

Brad’s offer to Grant is offered to PP

  20. shortpersonohara

Alright PP, you outlasted Smart, Grant, and Rob. Need to be a more consistent presence off the bench for us. Finally get your opportunity, better make the most of it.

Good deal. Seems about right for a backup young guard. Locks up a guy you developed and also a pretty tradeable contract if you trying to aggregate salary. The reality is the Cs don’t have many avenues in adding tradable salary/contracts this size for potential maneuvering for help.

  22. salivana

Thats about the going rate for guys like him

  23. transizzle

I think this is just because they’re going to be stuck with the new cba rules and want to sign someone before they can’t do anything. Gives them more flexibility down the road.

Steal. He’s a dog he’ll get more mins this year. They won’t miss Brogdon at all.

  25. He’s more important then people think. They have a very ‘stiff’ guard rotation. Jrue is older and a big guard. jaylen brown is the stiffest wing in nba history, Derrick white is a big guard. Pritchard is the only ‘speed’ and juice they have. Young legs

  26. Witty-C

Seems like a good contract to me, PP is a good backup guard to have

  27. Critical-Adhole

I wonder white Boston would sign him to this completely unexpected deal?

  28. DueCapital5250

About 7.5 million a year for a bench player? Wow.

  29. Burner_for_design

I like PP and he can play, but In a league where you could sign Austin Rivers off the scrap heap for a couple million at any time, I don’t really get it.

  30. ZacapaRocks

Can he play quarterback for the Patriots?

  31. dwadefan45

In order to trade him of course.

They’re not going to give him the role he wants

  32. nardog420

Crazy the dude who sat a few rows in front of me in freshman sociology just got a 30m contract guaranteed
