Definitely excited to see him with the regular rotation players
It is very easy to explain – if Sasha was one of the starter 5, then he would have a very little time with the ball and practically limited time to adapt. Playing with players outside the first team will put him in position to take control and actually play valuable minutes in order to adapt.
Smart move.
The disrespect, on Sasha vezenkov started, I hope he quickly leaves this sick environment….

I see trouble….right here in River City. Monte and Mike have a lot of work still to do. The Kings went flat pretty quickly once the Raptors took the lead.
Sad to see him moving from Euroleague mvp to 3rd string bencher. I mean even Fultz, who was the example for a terrible performance during the training had his chances.

He is a dynamite on offense though, it's just a matter of finding somewhere to hide him safely on D.
Not sure if I am more excited about Vezenkov playing or the Bulgarian (and Olympiakos) bump that Kings platforms will experience with him playing 🙂

I think Sasha played with the third team out of respect for Trey Lyles. Coach Brown doesn't want Lyles to feel like he was just replaced right away by a rookie. Lyles had to play the 4 in order for JaVale and Len to both get playing time. There's no question Vezenkov will be a valuable rotation player day 1 of the season.
