  1. The season is almost upon us 😎…

For one I've been very excited by the training footage and this team is already building cohesion and chemistry.

Mikal Bridges Ben Simmons Nic Claxton Dorian Finney Smith Royce o Neale Lonnie Walker lV Dennis Smith Jr. and Spencer dinwiddie all look ready to have a great season.

This is a season about building a championship culture, creating a strong identity on defense, creating a team style offense, and bringing fun competitive basketball back to Brooklyn…

    Let's go 😎 🔥…..

  2. I will say this as well, Dennis Smith Jr has made a huge impact so far. He's been a vocal leader helping his teammates set schemes on the defensive and offensive sides. While his unique defensive skillset will be his main strength to the team this season he has some sound fundamentals on figuring out his offensive game as well. He's already being looked at as a backup point guard to help lead the second unit which is a great role for him and he looks very focused and determined this season 🔥….

I definitely think Dennis will be a big breakout player this season….

  3. As far as tomorrow goes for the first preseason game Ben Simmons will obviously be the main focus to see how he runs the court, defends and shows his playmaking skills.

Also it will be interesting to see how Ben Simmons and Spencer dinwiddie will share the court and how they can be interchangeable where one is the point guard while the other scores and obviously if Ben Simmons is the point guard Spencer dinwiddie will turn into a catch and shoot guard which might increase his numbers on the offensive side again….

These preseason games are about Brooklyn figuring out which combinations work and earn set roles on this team going forward…..

  4. I have no faith in Ben, I l believe it when I see it cuz as of right now I ain’t seen a damn thing

  5. I have a funny feeling this first pre-season game will be embarrassing asf just because we don’t have any continuity yet and it’s their first game together.
It’s more (for me) to see how Ben, Walker, DSJ and Bridges look together.
Hopefully we can win and look good doing it 😊

    🤍🩶🖤LGN!!!!!🖤🩶🤍

  6. I disagree Adam each team is the same tho, a lot of changes (trades, fa) has happened so we aren’t the only team figuring it out but if your talking about teams like the warriors , bulls, thunder, Pels etc. those guys who pretty much stayed the same in a way yeah

  7. It’s absolutely fair to judge Ben Simmons off of a preseason game. If he had stayed quiet in the off-season, then I’d wouldn’t judge him, but you can’t go on a media tour saying “I’m back” and expect fans not to be angry if he doesn’t show up. I’m not expecting him to drop 20, but I need to see aggression from him in preseason.

  8. As a giants fan I feel like many Nets fans are setting themselves up for serious disappointment. Just like all the positive vibes surrounding my giants. Oh Jones had one great year let’s celebrate only to come crashing down to earth or reality.

The Nets have played the marketing positivity stuff beautifully unfortunately you have to actually win games. Our entire season rest on the shoulders of Bridges and if Ben Simmons decides to shoot the basketball. Other than that we have an overpaid cam Johnson, cam Thomas who JV hates, vets that should been traded at the deadline, and a bunch of reclamation projects.

I’m watching to see bridges and Claxton and how great they can become other than I hope to be pleasantly surprised and hope to not be lottery team in a year Houston has ours. Keep the goals achievable folks.

  9. The calls for Simmons to shoot more to prove he's back are off the mark. Simmons just needs to show why he was once great – playmaking, elite D, scoring in the paint, a little bit of rebounding. He can't start hoisting up shots but he also can't shy away. It's an interesting group of guys, many who need to prove it on the court. I like the idea of Dennis Smith and Cam Thomas as a 2nd unit paring – a vet presence who can control the tempo and defend, and a young guy who can light it up
