Chet was late and got beat, he was trying to get in front of wemby but was a step too late and actually got his foot stepped on which means he was late moving his feet. so he was trying to get in front of wemby but got his head in the way while still moving… same concept as a reach in. There’s been so much speculation on Wembanyama’s ability to stay healthy on the court, but watching him tonight, I realized how much control he will have to exert in order not to injure *other* players. His arms are so long, and his elbows are right at the level of a lot of other players’ heads – just rising up for a contested shot in the paint, he’s bound to hit a lot of lips/noses/eyes. A quick turn of the shoulders and he could knock a 6’10” dude out.
Not at all implying he’s a dangerous player, but he will be very difficult to officiate.
