Incredible performance given that its his first true live NBA action. What an absolute talent.
He’s definitely got a few rougher edges on both ends to correct but nothing that isn’t fixable. The shot is one thing he’s been panned on but his shot technically is fine. Just gonna take reps, but we saw today the diversity in his shooting profile he possesses potentially as he grows from the perimeter. Defensively he’s looking like he’s gonna be a game changing presence as a rim protector.
Sky is the limit for Wemby. He’s so enthralling to watch.

Man Wemby’s wingspan gave him the ability to deflect passes and force loose balls into transition opportunities, it was insane watching that live. Dude was like lunging from the 3pt line and getting to a guy dribbling at the free throw line so effortlessly, or just using his long ass arms to save errant passes from going out of bounds.
