    @Marsh we kept talking about to many player for two positions. How does Fournier fit into this rotation? Who sits? Grimes!!?

    We looked good I liked what I saw , specially if Fournier can play with that chip on his shoulder like he did , but CONSISTENTLY , and rj im slowly thinking he needs to go I hate to say it but heā€™s just too inconsistent from 3

    Every time Boston tied or took the lead. The Knicks got answers from Quickly, Fournier, DiVincenzo and Hartenstein. Although it was preseason I am excited for the season. I just hope we keep the band together.

    If Sims is going to run the 4/5 with iHart or Mitch on the floor, he will need to attempt some corner threes or mid range jumper. Sims canā€™t look to dribble hand off every time he gets the ball

    A wise man once said ā€œWe could lose by 70 or Win by 70 it doesnā€™t matter itā€™s preseasonā€ Patrick Siepman 10/9/2023. That is what I get from this game itā€™s preseason game 1. Itā€™s still Harten Dimes tho.

    The issue with Julius is he's hungry to eat and dominate.. The issue is he's the 3rd most doubled player in the NBA behind Giannis and Embiid… And the Knicks do not have the floor spacing nor the shooters ..

    Julius knows he can dominate but he's cautious of the help defense.

    And the issue with knick fans is… You see Julius as the problem because you have belief / bias outlook on guys on this roster..

    RJ is not a floor spacer… Only thing that helps him is he gets bail out foul calls

    Grimes is not a proven /consistent/reliable scorer.

    Fournier is making 70 million to barely play..

    We don't have any stretch bigs or any 5's that's a true threat to score. That shrinks the floor.

    We don't see Thibs utilize Brunson pick n rolls with Randle or IQ pick n rolls with Julius.

    Josh Hart is great but only 6'5 and isn't a knock down shooter.. The belief he can play the 4 ? What he did it in Portland on a bad team?

    Even when guys see defenses are zoning in to crowd Julius with doubles & cut off passing angles.. Guys Stand still..

    You can't have poor floor spacers and not at least have great off ball man movement with away from the ball screens & ect.

    This is the issue. But you guys only see Julius holding the ball… There is so much more context.

    Even the shots Brunson made, outside of the corner 3.. Those were smothered contested shots.

    This spacing for Randle and Brunson is not good..

    Julius is guarded differently than everyone else on the team.. And teams take advantage of the poor spacing and lack of off ball action when Julius has the ball.

    I feel like I'm the only one who see's this. This team does not fit.

    But the narratives around this team are not in favor of Julius and it's this delusional hope in the supporting cast that doesn't fit his game.

    P.s. Thibs is horrible.
